Fire Safety Tips

With the holiday season and end of the year upon us, it is time for all of us to reflect on the great things that we have experienced this year; and also to look forward to what will happen in the New Year. During this season, we all enjoy spending time with family and friends. These celebrations can cause many to forget about Fire Safety and personal safety. Make sure that candles are used with caution and never left unattended. Use only UL approved lights. If using a live Christmas tree, make sure that the tree is watered regularly to keep it fresh. Also, place Christmas plants out of the reach of pets, many can cause extreme issues. When celebrating the New Year, be responsible. We would hate to meet by “accident” after your New Year’s celebration. The Officer’s and Members of the Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Company would like to wish a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday’s and a Very Happy New Year to all that we serve. We will continue to work with the Fredericksburg Fire Department, to offer caring and professional services to the citizens and visitors of the City of Fredericksburg .

Thank you and Stay Safe,
David Bogozi
